Joint meeting for Kent Field Club and Kent Mammal Group to look for Water Voles, Harvest Mice and general recording
North Kent Marshes sites that were part of the Kent Wildlife Trust's 'Water for Wildlife' project. We will collect all records and hope to find signs of water voles and harvest mice.
The idea is to raise awareness of KFC to KMG members (and vice versa) and its free to members.
This is not a training day or wildlife walk but a chance to experience a KFC meeting (although this is a bit atypical, so as well as looking for signs of water voles, harvest mice there will be the chance to learn about other species such as ditch & marsh plants, insects etc). KFC meetings are usually a day of general recording of all taxa and learning from like minded fellow naturalists.
Its a good idea to bring LUNCH if you want to stay all day.

There is plenty of parking on Church Road.
