Activity Description:

After training as an ecologist Hugh moved into general and wildlife journalism.  He has had a life long passion for hedgehogs, which culminated in him publishing a book on them in 2008 called:  A prickly affair, my life with hedgehogs.  He has been involved in several major operations to save hedgehogs, including the rescue and relocation of a population of hogs from an island in  the hebrides.   Check out an article he wrote for BBC Wildlife magazine at: http://www.urchin.info/images/WL_MAR08_HEDGEHOG_CS9-1.pdf .
