Activity Description:

Kent mammal group are teaming up with the Mid Kent Downs countryside project to bring you this fun and informative free event.

It can sometimes be difficult to know what kind of animals are in a woodland as they can be small and difficult to find.  This is especially the case with mice, voles and shrews. Kent Mammal Group expert Jon Bramley who will have set some humane traps to see just what is going on in Gorham and Admiral woods.  Learn all about the different kind of small mammals in the woods, what they feed on and how they survive through harsh winters.  You will get to see them in the flesh too!

We will meet at the St James' church (map) in Bicknor where parking will be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. The walk will be around 3 miles.
