Activity Description:

Kent Mammal Group are running a Dormouse Ecology and Conservation Workshop at Wildwood on Saturday 27th July. This course is aimed at volunteers who would like to help monitor a dormouse site for KMG.

The course is offered at a special discounted price of £30 for KMG members who are prepared to train for approximately 2 seasons (the length of time varies depending on your skills and the number of dormice found on site visits) with a licensed dormouse monitor then, once licensed, to monitor a site for Kent Mammal Group a minimum of one year. If you are not already a KMG member you can sign up on the day of the course.  To obtain your licence you will also be expected to attend a Dormouse Handling Workshop.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.  You should be up- to-date with your anti-tetanus vaccination before handling animals.
