Observing nocturnal mammal activity using camera traps and thermal imaging cameras

Activity Description:

An opportunity to get hands-on experience with camera traps, including learning how to set them up and viewing some close-up footage of animals such as hedgehogs, badgers and foxes. In addition, if it is a dry and mild evening we will go out for a short bat walk. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear if the walk goes ahead. Refreshments will be available. £2 members, £3 non-members.

 

**NEW** During 2013/14 we are planning to make more use of the facilities at Hadlow College's Animal Management Unit and include some practical elements, such as the camera trapping this month.

The door fees remain at £2 for members and £3 for non-members.
